The eminent legal commentator Richard Susskind has urged in-house lawyers to demand better behaviour from their suppliers of legal services. As an avid reader of his books I can see that he believes the legal sector will be subjected to considerable change. Client relationships must always be nurtured and part of that must be the ability to deliver industry specific knowledge on a best value basis. The age of the generalist is now past as far as in-house Counsel are concerned.
